In this series, a fallen priest, a demon hunter, and a super hero join
together to fight the forces of evil. This Mexican television web series is
based on a book written by Francisco Haghenbeck entitled “El Diablo me
obligó” and was renewed last month (February 2019) for a second season.

The Last Kingdom
This thrilling historical drama is set in England before the competing
kingdoms of the country were unified. Many of the kingdoms have been
invaded and occupied by Vikings, which leaves the kingdom of Wessex ruled
by King Alfred as the last standing Anglo-Saxon kingdom.
The drama follows Uthred of Bebbanburg, an Anglo-Saxon who was kidnapped
when he was young and then raised by Vikings. As an adult, he plays both
sides of the conflict to try and reclaim the land and titles that were
stolen from him. Currently there are three seasons to enjoy with a fourth
on the way; so if you’re searching for some awesome swordfights and action
packed drama, The Last Kingdom is a great choice.

Dead Set
This short mini-series was originally broadcast in 2008 and follows a dark
and twisted storyline. The show follows contestants and producers on a
fictional Big Brother, however whilst the show is taking place, there’s a
zombie outbreak. The show even includes a zombie version of Davina McCall,
and talented actors such as Riz Ahmed, who later starred in Rogue One and
Four Lions.

Death Note

Japanese with subtitles and an English dubbed version, this animated story
is certain to entertain any fans of Sherlock style mysteries, or Hannibal

Many would consider the lead villain Light Yagami to be one of the most
sinister villains on the screen in the past few decades. The character is
responsible for countless deaths as he weaves a web of lies to practically
everyone but himself, including family and close friends; all in the
pursuit of becoming a ‘god of death’ and establishing a utopia.

In Bruges
In this film, two contract killers are sent to a tourist town in Belgian
called Bruges whilst they wait for their next mission. The story is a
somewhat reminiscent of “Waiting for Godot” which also have clear
inspirations from Tarantino’s classic “Pulp Fiction”. The film covers
themes and questions such as Catholic guilt and redemption, offering
action, comedy, and a nuanced character drama.
